Your comprehensive guide when you visit the city of Marsa Ibn M'Hidi

Overview of the main street , the port.

Peace, mercy and blessings of God

My visiting brother, my visiting sister, your comprehensive guide when you visit the city of Marsa Ibn M'Hidi:

The city is located in the far northwest of the country on the border with the Kingdom of Morocco.

The first thing you have to do as soon as you enter the Ben Lagrave area and see the Moroccan flags there on the other side is to adjust your phone network by choosing the manual mode so that your phone network does not mix with the mobile networks in neighboring Morocco.

The city contains two beaches: the main beach of the city and the second beach, Mouskard, with its sections (1 and 2).

In addition to the Baydar Beach of the municipality of Marsa Ibn M'hidi, a few kilometers to the east, by following the mountain road.

rent:

The prices of renting or renting housing vary according to the time or days you want in the summer or at any time of the year. If we talk about the summer, which is the bottom line in its three months, the rental prices vary from 3000 dinars to 12000 dinars at peak times and according to the distance and Proximity to the beach to extend to the month of September and October, where prices know, of course, a clear decrease.

Rental types:

Regular rental housing.

Rental residences les résidences: There are dozens of residences on the soil of the municipality in its villages.

Hotel rental: Al-Zayani and Al-Saim hotels.

Muskarda beach

Trading:

Many complain about the high prices of visitors, and for information the city contains about 20 shops for the people of the region, and in the summer the shops increase from those outside the city, where the prices are inflamed. Many cities from all over the country, including the coastal ones, and I found that the prices in Marsa Ibn M’hidi are very reasonable and appropriate, for example, but not limited to a bottle of water, between 30 dinars and 50 dinars as a maximum, and the price of Al-Matlo’ bread, for which the area is known, is between 60 and 70 dinars, The most, not 100 dinars, as some claim.

The presence of a local market for vegetables and fruits in the city center in addition to a cart or two to sell fish.

And to buy fresh fish, all you have to do is go to the port in the morning.

There is an annual exhibition with all the requirements located opposite the Abdul Hamid bin Badis Mosque, in addition to other annual exhibitions facing the city’s corniche.

Flexi and mobile recharge are 10 dinars for the operation and 20 dinars, starting from 1000 dinars. Others are not from the city, meaning it is normal like other cities.

Skimmers:

Most of them are not from the area, except for 3 or 4 people, the most famous of which is the Al-Si Nour Al-Din creamer facing the beach and the port; also Al-Amira creamery for the brothers Zarqit, opposite the downtown mosque.

Restaurants:

Most of the restaurants are owners from outside the region, except for three or four, the most important of which is Belkacem Restaurant in the Al-Filaj neighborhood (the municipal neighborhood) known for its reasonable prices and also the reception and good welcome and cleanliness; and Msirda Restaurant is almost in the same place in addition to the Al Sharq Restaurant by its owner Mounir close to the mosque and Boujnan Restaurant Next to the post office, opposite the Civil Protection Center and the sea.

bakeries:

The city has only one bakery near the primary school, to which one or two bakeries are added for traditional bread in the summer season. The best time to buy bread is early morning because the supply does not match the huge demand.

braces:

By the summer, in addition to the local butchers, others will be opened, perhaps the most important of which are from the people of the region, the butcher of Msirda in the farmer market, the butcher of al-Baraka in front of the primary school, and the butcher of my uncle al-Bashir near the taxi station.

Abdul Hamid Bin Badis Mosque

Mosques:

There are two mosques, the first is the Al-Rahma Mosque at the entrance to the city near the only petrol station and the second is the Imam Abdel Hamid Ben Badis mosque in the city center, both on the national road, in addition to a new relatively small third mosque near the Muskard beach in the far east of the city that will open soon.

the health:

There is one clinic, which is a multi-service clinic of general medicine, dentistry, an obstetrics clinic and blood tests, in addition to three well-known private doctors (general medicine).

Entertainment:

The most important destination for entertainment is the fishing and picnic port, where it contains a children’s play park available throughout the year and a group of other amusement parks that open in the summer only with different types and shapes; and outside the port to the west, on the border with the Saidia neighbor, where there are several areas for playing and entertainment in addition to The municipal stadium, a small stadium belonging to the same boat, a bodybuilding hall and a semi-Olympic swimming pool on the outskirts of the inauguration.

Transportation:

The city is small and there is no city taxi. For travel outside the city, there is a taxi station in front of the municipal stadium for short and medium distances, Maghnia and Tlemcen, as well as the other provinces of Oran and Bel Abbas and the rural transport station to unite the city with the rest of its villages.

drinking water:

Water is available approximately once every three days and sometimes daily, meaning it is available and there is no problem in this aspect.

post office:

In the center of the city and its heart directly facing the sea and there is no bank.

Parking: There is a private parking lot at the border right next to the side road, which is wide and sufficient.

Like the summary of Marsa Ibn Mhidi, it is well known for its safety and the spread of security forces in strength and a large number of cases of assault or theft. rubbish...etc.
