Beni Haoua : city & main beach
Just a few kilometers east Our previous beach of Oued Gseb 2; The city of beni haoua is located. its is a small city in north east the state of chlef . The state of Chlef just can't stop to amaze us whith it's charming beaches and beautiful nature.
Beni Haoua takes its name from the Berber tribe that inhabits it. The Berber language is very much alive in the region. it is known for its amazing beach, its port and the Yemma Binette sanctuary. It has more than 25,000 inhabitants.
This part of the Algerian Dahra is an area of medium relief, formerly wooded, but today very little, except in rare places such as the national forest of Bissa. This forest has cork oak, holm oak, pines, holly; wild fruit trees such as cherry trees and brambles. The maquis part mainly consists of heather, cistus and lavender within a very dense carpet of mastic. Other plant species also populate this territory. Forest well watered in winter and spring, it maintains its greenery all year round. Other small forests have resisted deforestation and chronic fires. The forest of Menterache, Bouchghal or Bourchghal and Tamezguida.
It is also an area rich in geologically interesting terrain and useful mineralization. The region of Beni Haoua, eastern extension of Ténès belongs to the northern Tell, an area between the Cheliff valley, the western end of the Mitidja and the Mediterranean to the north, as well as the two coastal massifs of Ténès to the west and that of Chenoua to the East. This part of the alpine chain of North Africa is called Dahra algérois.
The rivers that flow even during the summer are relatively numerous. There are about ten of them (main and tributaries) including, Oued Lekbir (Oued lethine) with several important tributaries (Oued Hamla and Oued Legseb); Oued Menterache, Oued Outar, Oued Goussine and Oued Bouchghal. Each of the wadis has its own tributaries which limit the slopes and ridges, giving a typically mountainous morphology to this area.
now to the real deal , the beach or i must say beaches! for the city is full of all types & all kinds of beaytiful beaches that maches every taste. sandy beach, rocks beach , diving possibility, fishing .... you name it .
in this artical we are going to talk about one of these beaches : the main one Beni Haoua's main beach.
Beni Haoua's main beach is very popular in the region, it's mostly visited by families. it is a perfect long walk beach for it's covered with these little tiny rocks that massages your feet while you enjoy a nice walk with the great view of the sunset ( or sunrise if you prefer) as the pine trees climb high the Cliff watching the city.
the beautiful thing about the beach is that the inside , the soil in the sea is actually from sand .
