It is also distinguished by its rocky nature, preferred by many vacationers, as well as the traditional fishing activity carried out by small boats.

To the west, about 600 meters away, is a small rocky island with the same name, Boucheghal Island, which offers a backdrop of Eden to all of this natural and captivating canvas...

This beach is renowned by an unprecedented number of vacationers who go there to escape the heat wave. It therefore, needs investors to enhance it even more through small tourism projects to advance the sector, on the one hand, and offer summer visitors more choice and amenities, on the other.

Bouchghale beach is one of the most popular. The beach has a nice view of the sea, but it is not too crowded because there are other activities to do besides swimming. It is also very safe for kids because there are no huge waves or currents like you would find at some other beaches.

04  Main things to do in Bouchghale beach:

1-   Swimming :

get that Burkini and that swimsuit and lets dive in.

the first obvious thing to do is swimming , aspetially when you get to experience the hot weather of the state of Chlef, so we had to mention this and make it first!

2-  Sunbathing:

Just sit-back & relax, enjoy the view and the beautiful Mediterranean sun , get some vitamin D!!

( It is highly recommended to respect the Islamic culture of the country, for the Algerians are kind and welcoming but they do not accept to be disrespected by getting naked on the beach or wearing uncovered cloths or drinking)

3-  Camping:

As we have mentioned before, Bouchghale is well known by its beautiful pine forests (Bissa forest), breath-taking and splendid views and the smell of the pine trees is another story… Interspersed with small bays, beaches and waterfalls this town is the best if not N° 01 site for camping in Algeria. As you walk on , you will find many places preserved for this activity , it can be solo-camping or group camping you choose! And the best part is each camping site has an access and a view on a bay or a beach ( rocky beach as we have mentioned before)

4- fishing :

Fishing is another activity that you can do in Bouchghale, relaxed by the beach , camping in the forest or by rentting a small boat ... the area is very known by the traditionnal fishing activity carried out by small boats...

As you can see, Algeria has a lot to offer for those who want to escape from the city and spend some time at the beach. Whether you are looking for a place where you can relax or play in the water, there is something here for everyone!
